Gigabyte g-Smart i300 multifunctional device
Gigabyte, famous for motherboards and video cards, has introduced yet another smartphone device in the form of the g-Smart i300 that is equipped with an integrated GPS receiver, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 2 megapixel camera to capture candid shots on the go. It is powered by an Intel PXA270 520MHz processor, a generous helping of 256MB ROM and 64MB RAM. This Windows Mobile 5.0-powered device also boasts a miniSD memory card slot for expansion options and 2.4" QVGA touchscreen display for navigational purposes, courtesy of the SiRFStar III GPS receiver. The Bluetooth headset also doubles up as a security device that can be activated during an emergency, sending a message of the last known co-ordinates to pre-assigned numbers. The g-Smart i300 is expected to be released this December.
