Vodafone looks set to release the v1210 cellphone next month, although the company is strangely quiet about it. The v1210 will run on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system which is powered by an Intel 300MHz processor which is helped along by 64MB RAM and 128MB ROM. This tri-band GSM/GPRS/3G handset will also feature a 2.2" QVGA TFT LCD display, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth, USB, and IrDA connectivity. It does make one wonder how can a 3G smartphone like this lack a camera, resigning the 3G connection to checking e-mails and hanging out in chatrooms. What, no video calls?
Luckily it does NOT have a camera. Otherwise it would be useless as a business phone since many companies don't allow access to development areas with phones that have cameras built in.
