SoftBank X01HT hits Japan
SoftBank in Japan has started receiving the HSDPA smartphone from HTC, and has rebadged it as the SoftBank X01HT which offers blazing download speeds which can hit 1.8Mbps on downlink and up to 384Kbps on the uplink) over HSDPA-enabled networks. You can also connect to the Internet via WiFi, making the SoftBank X01HT a truly versatile device that will be a boon to any road warrior. This smartphone is powered by the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and comes with a QWERTY keyboard, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer Mobile, push e-mail support, and a 2 megapixel camera that snaps great looking casual pictures. A microSD memory card can be inserted to further increase the amount of information the X01HT can carry.
