Paragon Wireless releases hipi-2200
The hipi-2200 from Paragon Wireless is no ordinary Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone - this quadband GSM and SIP-based handset is capable of functioning as a VoIP device over an existing WiFi connection, essentially empowering you with the best of both worlds. You can now make Skype-out calls at a hotspot to save on the monthly bill, reverting to your subscribed line in WiFi-less areas. The hipi-2200 looks sweet with its sleek, silver body which measures 107mm x 45mm x 16mm. Features include a 1.7" color TFT display, a 2 megpaixel camera, a miniSD card slot, video and audio playback capability, and e-mail/browsing applications.
