Nokia launches Sirocco Edition

Nearly a month ago, we mentioned that Nokia will be refreshing its 8801 luxury cellphone with a few enhancements to make it all the more desirable (as if it isn't by itself already). Dubbed the Sirocco Edition, this revamped 8801 retains the stainless steel case that screams of fingerprint magnet and a 262k color display. Unfortunately, the keypad is rather small and those with bulky fingers might have trouble composing text messages speedily. The Sirocco Edition handset will have a new and improved 2 megapixel camera and an extended battery life. You can go out and grab one for yourself at the recommended retail price of 1,000 Euros today if the need to keep up with the Joneses proves too strong to go against.
