Samsung unveils 6.9mm thin handset

Not to be outdone by Motorola in terms of slimness, Samsung has lifted the curtain on its Ultra Edition handset at the Samsung Ultra Conference in Dubai. This new handset measures only 6.9mm in thickness and will be one of the star attractions from the Korean phone manufacturer in the second half of this year. First introduced in Communic Asia 2006, this cellphone will begin shipping in South East Asia, Middle East, and European markets. Another two Ultra Edition Handsets, the D830 and D900 will follow shortly.
