The slider Sidekick 3 device has more of its details revealed today by documents released by the FCC. More pictures and the Sidekick 3 moniker can be found in the manual, along with other new features, including a trackball that replaces the scroll wheel. Cosmetic changes include replacing the rubber coated keyboard with a plastic one and a removable battery. The Sidekick 3's camera is confirmed to be a 1.3 megapixel unit and you can choose to store photos taken with it internally or on a miniSD card that doubles up as a storage base for music and video files as well. Bluetooth capability is also included in the device.
