Send Paper Faxes from Your Cell Phone with ScanR
ScanR is offering a faxing service to anyone who has a cellphone equipped with at least a 1.3-megapixel camera. All you need to do is to snap the picture of the document and email it to doc@scanr.com. Make sure the fax number is included within the text body. You will receive a confirmation message from ScanR once the fax is sent. ScanR is offering a free trial for the skeptics. I believe road warriors will find this service a God-sent. Higher megapixel camera phones are not widespread in use at the moment, but time will remedy that.

I came across this the other day (www.clicktoscan.com), it's currently in Beta format, seems to work well, might be worth a look.

The service does exactly the same as ScanR with the added bonus of doing it all from your mobile phone handset. The image seems to be sharper as well. It's ideal for when you're on the move and need to fax or send an important document.

You can send scans directly to email addresses (no need for a PC) and it even lets you convert pictures taken on a camera phone into .pdf - pretty cool. Also great for getting a copy of notes on a whiteboard.
