Iljin Display have developed small, 0.24" wide projectors that can be embedded into a cellphone or digital camera. The built-in projector uses Single LCD panel technology to project photos and video images onto the wall in 7", full color glory. The company went on to predict that 5% of cellphones in the market by the year 2010 will come equipped with the video projector function. The first of such phones from Samsung and LG sporting this functionality will probably be released next April. I wonder if this will cause cellphones to come with a heat sink.
